October 15th- A Day of Remembrance
Tuesday, parents all over the world who have lost a child will unite together and be supported by one another and by their friends and families. The tradition is to light a candle at 7 pm and let it burn for one hour. Since families all over the world will be participating, a continual wave of light will be formed for 24 hours.
Tuesday evening, we'll be lighting our candle remembering Isaac Joseph Wilson. We'll also be remembering and praying for so many of you who have also lost children.
Tuesday evening, we'll be lighting our candle remembering Isaac Joseph Wilson. We'll also be remembering and praying for so many of you who have also lost children.
We would love for our friends and family to participate in this as well. Here's our own unique spin, in honor of Isaac. If you decide to join us, would you consider taking a picture with your candle and then sharing the picture with us (tag us!) on Facebook? And- if you feel so inclined to indulge us, we'd LOVE to hear how Isaac's story-- our story, God's story!-- has impacted you personally. We are so encouraged every time we hear how God is bringing beauty out of the ashes...for His glory!
...to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of His splendor. Isaiah 61:1-3
